Stephanie Wong is a multidisciplinary artist based in London. She primarily works in printmaking as well as photography, film and installation. With an emphasis on the process of making she is particularly interested in using different techniques to capture the properties of everyday materials. In her printmaking she often plays around with colour, texture and composition to create one off or limited edition prints. Influenced by her background in neuroscience, ideas are guided by a deep interest in perception and how art can interrogate the connection between the inner and outer world. Stephanie completed a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Bristol in 2012 and graduated from the MA Art and Science course at Central Saint Martins in 2016. She also makes art with her sisters as part of JIUN Collective. They were selected to be part of a year-long exhibition at the Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London which finished in February 2024.
